The Frederic C. Hamilton Building of the Denver Art Museum is one of the country’s most unique structures. It’s jutting shape mimics the quartz crystal clusters common in Colorado’s geology. Do you use gemstones in your tarot or divination practice? Let us know in the comments!

When it comes to tarot we don’t just work hard, we play hard! Denver TarotCon 2015 is going to have plenty of downtime. Friday night we will bring you Tarot Games with Sherry Shone–new and unexpected ways to play with your cards and win some prizes too! Fast thinking, creativity and lots of laughter guaranteed.

Saturday night get all gussied up (or dress down, it is Denver, after all) for cocktails and a catered banquet.

Dinosaurs battle at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. If this were a tarot card, which card would it be? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Sunday morning we will have a tarot scavenger hunt–adventure out with a guided group or on your own to the Denver Art Museum, Botanic Gardens, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, or the 16th Street Mall, and take a photo of your assigned tarot card–as you see it spontaneously occurring in one of these environments.

And, we’ll introduce you to the concept of wetworking–no, it’s not what you think–it’s networking while drinking!

With plenty of planned fun plus generous breaks between presentations not to mention long lunches, we’re making room for the synergy of synchronicity. Who needs to learn something–you can just come for the fun!

I checked the map and the hotel is over 3.5 miles from where the conference will be held. How are participants to get from one to the other?

When do you expect to have the agenda available to review?

    Thank you.

Hi James! We will arrange for shuttle service and/or carpooling. There will be plenty of local people participating who are willing to provide rides for out-of-towners. Also, for those who like public transportation, the hotel and venue are both on major bus routes, which run frequently. Denver has one of the best public transportation systems in the country!

As to the agenda, I’m not sure. I have an agenda prepared, but at this point there are still too many variables affecting it to finalize it definitively, in terms of the exact time for each speaker and event. In terms of general times for planning your transportation into town, Friday will be from 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi! Has the agenda been finalized or is there a proposed schedule of events yet?

Is there an official hotel for the conference? I’ve looked all over your website and haven’t seen any information. Are there special rates for conference attendees? Thanks.

Hi Sherryl! Thanks for contacting me. Yes! We are using the Holiday Inn Denver-Cherry Creek and they are giving us a fantastic rate of $119/night (plus taxes) including their fabulous hot breakfast buffet! All the Accommodations info is hidden cleverly under the Contact section of the site. 🙂 (Sorry! I should have set up a separate page!) There is even a booking link. Or call them and make sure you ask for mountain views! I’m looking forward to seeing you at the convention!

Will there be a one day price, or do I need to buy all three days?

Hi Kenneth! At this point there is no option for a one-day price. It is possible as we get closer to the event date that we might open that up, but I can’t guarantee anything. If you’d like to join the event on Meetup or on Facebook that’s the easiest way to keep track of new developments. I hope this helps! –Joy

It does! I’ve got three little ones at home and taking three days is impossible. I’m excited to go, but I’m not going to drive up to Denver 3 days in a row.
